Roll over
With all the repairs complete on underside of the hull it was time to flip St Jim over and see what needed doing on the inside.
Ultimately I would have liked to strip it back to bare wood and apply a varnish, but this proved too finicky for me. Instead I removed the flaky paint and sanded what was left. Some of the seams needed a retaping and once this was done I applied a coat of all over white.

A thin veneer of ply was glued over the transom to provide a better finish and then a couple of coats were applied to the outside of the hull. Launch day is not far away.
